Steamboat Springs Mother Charged After 3-Year-Old's Death
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A mother in Steamboat Springs is facing child abuse charges in the death of her 3-year-old son.
Police say Megan McKeon, 24, left the child home alone for nearly 20 hours. When she returned home Thursday he was dead.
Toxicology tests will be done to determine how the boy died.
The Steamboat Pilot reports doctors think the boy may have ingested prescription medication.
