State Patrol Steps Up Enforcement For Their 'Zero Zero' Campaign

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado State Patrol is stepping up enforcement with the goal of zero fatalities and zero tolerance towards unsafe drivers.

It's dubbed the #ZeroZero campaign. It coincides with the Colorado Department of Transportation campaign's The Heat Is On and Drive High, Get A DUI.

Expect to see more patrols on the road.

Troopers are taking to social media, updating Twitter followers as they try to find drivers who pose a danger to themselves and others.

The State Patrol says car crashes are one of the leading causes of death in Colorado.
