State Patrol Releases Name Of Cyclist Seriously Injured In Hit & Run

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado State Patrol has released the identity of a cyclist who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in the Boulder area.

The cyclist has been identified as Mark Mihelic, 54, from Boulder.

The crash happened Friday at midday on the 6800 block of Olde Stage Road.

The driver spoke briefly with a witness but then left the scene.

The vehicle was described as being a mid-90s Chevy or GMC pickup truck that was reddish in color. The front right headlight is missing or damaged.

The driver was believed to be a white male who was possibly in his mid 20s or 30s.
