Stabbing Suspect Arrested 1 Day After Attack

DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver arrested a stabbing suspect wanted in an attack at a popular Highlands neighborhood restaurant.

Denver police said they arrested the man one day after he allegedly walked into Mead Street Station and stabbed a customer.

Anthony Marquette Ealy remains in police custody on investigation of attempted murder and first-degree assault.

The incident happened about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the busy Lowell Square area near 32nd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard.

The victim remained in the hospital on Wednesday but is expected to recover.
