Springs Police Locate Owner Of Memory Box Found In Stolen Car
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs have located one owner of a memory box that was found inside a stolen car and contained family photos and other memorabilia dating back to 1918.
Crime analysts did a genealogy search using names on the photographs. They traced the family to Elbert and Englewood with names including Moberly, Peterson, and Smith.
Police tweeted on Wednesday morning that they had located one owner of the box and returned the items.
