By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - It feels more like spring this week across most of Colorado and it will be even warmer over the next few days.

Highs in Denver will soar to record levels on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Right now it looks like Wednesday will be a close call but Thursday could beat the old record by a few degrees.

The highest February temperature ever recorded in the Denver climate record was 77°F on Feb. 4, 1890 and Feb. 28, 2006.
