Spooked Horse Strikes Denver Officer During Parade
DENVER (CBS4)- A spooked horse struck a Denver police officer during a parade on Friday morning.
The horse was in the Shakespeare Parade that wound its way downtown near 15th Street when the animal reared up and struck the officer in the head. The officer was patrolling the parade as part of the security detail.
The officer was rushed to Denver Health where he is expected to recover.
