'Space Plane' Built By Colorado Company Blasts Off

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4)- A mysterious "space plane" blasted off into space on Wednesday but not much is known about it.

The spacecraft was built by United Launch Alliance, based in Centennial.

It launched from Cape Canaveral, Fla. but its mission is secret. The Air Force is not revealing much about what the space plane will do in space.

It is controlled like an unmanned drone, lands like an airplane and can stay in space for years at a time.
