Travelers couldn't get updates on their flights and some had trouble checking in.

The airline announced in a series of tweets and on their website early Wednesday afternoon that they were "investigating current issues with our systems."

The issue led to bigger-than-normal lines for some travelers at Denver International Airport, and the airport encouraged flyers to give themselves extra time and check their flight status.

By 5 p.m. operations got mostly back to normal at DIA.
