Soccer League Organizer Charged In 2nd Case Of Sex Assault On A Child

DENVER (CBS4)- A soccer league organizer has been charged in a second sexual assault on a child case.

Andres Fuerte Gaspar has been charged in a new case with kidnapping, two counts of child enticement, two counts of sexual assault on a child and two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

The charges allege that Gaspar met the 13-year-old victim through his soccer league and after hiring him to help clean soccer fields, took the victim to his apartment where the assaults alleged to have occurred.

Gaspar was charged earlier in August with similar charges in a separate case and had been released on $50,000 bond. He has been arrested in connection with new charges and remains in jail. His bond in the new case is $100,000.

Gaspar is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Sept. 22 at 9:30 a.m. to be formally advised of the new charges.
