Snowy Start To Memorial Day Weekend For Parts Of Colorado

DENVER (CBS4) - If your plans this Memorial Day weekend take you into the mountains there's a possibility you could run into snow.

A winter weather advisory has been posted for portions of the central and southern mountains for Thursday night and most of the day on Friday where some places above 10,000 feet could see up to a foot of snow.

Even higher amounts are expected on top of Pikes Peak where a winter storm warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday.
