Series Of Crashes On I-25

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A series of accidents has snarled traffic on southbound Interstate 25 Saturday afternoon.

The crashes occurred on I-25 near Thornton Parkway just after 1:30 p.m.

A witness told CBS4 a snowplow was involved one accident but it appears the plow didn't collide with any vehicles.

Express lanes and the left lane of I-25 were blocked due to the crashes.

Drivers were advised to find alternate routes.
