Smoke Pours From Rocky Mountain Arsenal Refuge During Controlled Burn

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - A large plume of smoke was visible across some parts of the northern Denver metro area Friday due to a controlled burn.

The burn is being conducted by the U.S. Forest Service and it is taking place at Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge in Commerce City.

The burn is scheduled to continue until 4 p.m. Friday. It's part of a series of burns at the refuge to reduce fire danger.
