Smoke From Arizona Wildfire Drifts Into Colorado

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Smoke from wildfires in New Mexico and Arizona is drifting into Colorado.

The National Weather Service said Monday that pollution from the fire was expected in central and southern Colorado. The sheriff in Douglas County said the smoke is visible there.

Fire officials say a wildfire that is nearing one-square mile in size is burning on the Navajo Nation about 10 miles from the community of Navajo in far northwestern New Mexico. The National Forest Service says a 2-square-mile fire is burning in grass, pinon and juniper in a canyon in northern Arizona.
