DENVER (CBS4)- Firefighters credit smoke alarms with helping save a family from a burning home.
Fire crews with South Metro Fire Rescue rushed to the house fire near Havana and Orchard early Tuesday morning.
Smoke from the basement fire was filling the home while the family slept when the smoke alarms sounded.
Everyone escaped unharmed.
What started the fire is being investigated.
