Small Earthquake Rattles Greeley Area

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - An earthquake rattled the Greeley area and was felt by many residents, but there were no reports of any problems.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 3.4 temblor struck at 9:35 p.m. Saturday and was centered about five miles beneath the city. The agency's initial report put the magnitude at 3.7.

Authorities told The Greeley Tribune that there were no reports of injury or damage.

However, Greeley Fire Department spokesman Dominic Tatti says they did received numerous calls from people who felt the quake.
