Sketch Of Suspect Released In Death Of Colorado Teen
PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) -- Detectives have released new information in the December 2017 death of Maggie Long in Bailey.
Detectives released a sketch of a man they believe may be involved in the death of the high school senior.
ATF and FBI agents were out canvassing the neighborhood with the new flyer and possible suspect vehicle descriptions on Friday.
Long's remains were found in her family's burned home in December.
Long was expected to attend a concert at her school, but she never showed up.
In the days following her death, investigators issued an alert to for law enforcement officers to watch for a late model 1990s to 2000 light-colored minivan.
Investigators described the suspect as a white man in his 20s who was believed to be heavily armed with weapons and ammunition.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation Director John Camper said a large green safe, jade figurines, a handgun and AK47 style firearm were stolen from the home.
There is no arrests in the case at this point, according to Park County Sheriff officials.
