Sketch Released In Diamond K Trail Attack Investigation

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4)- Investigators have released the sketch of the suspect wanted in an attack on a popular hiking trial in Highlands Ranch in the middle of the afternoon.

About 2:24 p.m. on Sept. 16 the Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a report of a male who grabbed an adult female's arms while she was walking on the Diamond K Trail near Venneford Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch.

The female yelled at the male and pulled away. The suspect then walked away. Deputies responded within three minutes of getting the call but were unable to find the male.

The suspect is described as a white male with fair skin and freckles, late teens to early 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1, 140-155 pounds, medium build with brown, bushy hair where the bangs reached the eyebrows. He was wearing a light gray short sleeve shirt with white words or logo on it and dark gray shorts.
