Sinkhole In Jefferson County Will Take Month To Repair

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Officials in Jefferson County say repairs on a sinkhole that closed South Simms Street on Wednesday will be going on for about a month.

The 20 square foot sinkhole formed on Simms between Cooper Avenue and South Ward Street. It was 20 feet deep.

All traffic on Simms is now being pushed into the southbound lanes of the road. There was one lane open in each direction during Thursday morning's rush hour.
