Silverthorne Police Report Slowest Chase Ever

SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (CBS4) - Imagine discovering your pet tortoise was missing. Who are you going to call? For a family in Silverthorne, the call went to the police department.

After a slow game of hide and seek, an officer and someone applying to the department found the reptile hanging around a trail in Willowbrook.

Now the 30 pound, 23-year-old tortoise is back at home and hopefully it's not inclined to "run" away again.
