Silly & Peanut Find A New Home

DENVER (CBS4)- Silly and Peanut are best friends and they found a family who likes both dogs and cats-- and got one of each on Thursday.

Silly, a 1-year-old female red tabby, and Peanut, a 1-year-old female Chihuahua, are best friends that have lived together their entire lives.

The pair came to the Dumb Friends League in Denver in April and were looking for a family to take both of them.

The Dumb Friends League said the pair do everything together, they nap side by side, groom one another and are always eager to share a lap.

On Thursday, Will, Tina and their daughter Mary fell in love with Silly and Peanut and took them home. The family had been looking for a pet for about two years and finally found the perfect match for them.
