Trial Begins For Standoff That Ended With Explosives

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Jury selection is underway in Arapahoe County in a strange case that ended with a Greenwood Village home in ruins and a shoplifting suspect under arrest.

Police say Robert Seacat shoplifted from a Walmart in June 2015. Seacat fired a shot at a responding officer. A 19-hour standoff ensued in which the home was destroyed.

SWAT teams used explosives to try to get Seacat to surrender.
