One Person Killed In Shooting In Motel Parking Lot

AURORA (CBS4) - Police in Aurora are searching for a suspect after a fatal overnight shooting at a motel on Colfax Avenue.
The Riviera Motel is located near the intersection of Colfax and Yosemite Street.
The victim, a man, was taken to the hospital after getting shot multiple times in the parking lot at approximately 1 a.m. on Thursday. He later died. His name hasn't been released.
A standoff between police and a suspect in a separate crime took place at the hotel several hours later and shut down Colfax Avenue. That incident ended with an arrest.
Police said that suspect was not connected to the shooting.
