Sheraton Hotel Customers May Be At Risk From Hackers

DENVER (CBS4)- Some people who shopped or ate at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Denver may be at risk from hackers.

Hackers may have gotten credit card information from people who dined or shopped at the Sheraton.

Starwood Hotels says malware was detected in payment systems at the hotel restaurants, gift shops and other retail areas.

The malware was not found on front desk computers where guests pay for their stays.

A total of 54 hotels in the Starwood Hotels network were affected nationwide. The downtown Denver Sheraton was the only Colorado hotel affected.
