Sexually Violent Predator Sentenced To 12 Years

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A sexually violent predator in Jefferson County will spend at least the next 12 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Angel Alcaraz on Friday. Alcaraz, 58, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault on a child.

One of the girls was only six-years-old at the time and the other two were eight.

Alcaraz had been working as a handyman at the Terrace Park Apartments where the girls lived.

Arrest records show he lured the girls with candy and then assaulted them.

Alcaraz was also convicted of molesting a child in Thornton in 1991.
