Colorado's Senators Confirm Allison Eid's Nomination

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado's senior and junior senators voted to confirm Allison Eid to the Federal Appeals Court in Denver.

Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet and Republican Sen. Cory Gardner cast their votes this week, and she will fill a spot left vacant by Neil Gorsuch, who left when President Donald Trump nominated him for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Right now, Eid serves on the Colorado Supreme Court. It will be up to Gov. John Hickenlooper to fill Eid's spot.
