Senator Helps Take Snowpack Readings
BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4) – Sen. Michael Bennet helped take snowpack readings with snow surveyors at Berthoud Pass on Friday.
The measurements give officials an idea of how much water is available for spring.
Resources for snow readings were threatened by last year's sequestration.
Bennet and other congressmen pushed to keep funding available.
The readings will be available sometime next week.
