Wildlife Protection Closures Begin In Jefferson County

(CBS4) - Many Jefferson County parks will be implementing seasonal wildlife closures to help protect species as they grow.
Big ones include at Centennial Cone Park, portions of Clear Creek Canyon Park and North Table Mountain and South Table Mountain. See the full list at jeffco.us.
The idea is to protect nesting birds as well as elk during their calving season.
The closures range from Feb. 1 to July 31.
