Search Continues For Man Who Walked Away From Jeffco Work Program

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- The search continued on Friday for a man who walked away from a work release program in Jefferson County 10 days ago.

Joseph Rivera had been sentenced to that program for sexual exploitation of a child.

"He's also a registered sex offender so absolutely we want this man back in custody," said Jeffco Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Jenny Fulton. "His sentence was 10 years probation and 14 months on work release. Walking away from work release certainly doesn't help him."
