COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Rescuers have called off the search for a Colorado Springs woman who disappeared after the death of her son at the Air Force Academy.

Authorities say they are waiting for a positive identification from the coroner after a woman's body was found in a ravine on Saturday.

Senior cadet Alexandre Quiros died in his dorm room at the nearby academy on April 2. The cause of death hasn't been released, but academy officials say they don't suspect foul play.

Police said his mother, Ksenia Quiros, was reported missing on Wednesday and rescuers began searching for her.
