New Law Helps Keep More Students From Going Hungry

DENVER (CBS4)- Gov. John Hickenlooper signed more bills into law on Tuesday. One of them will help prevent students in Colorado from going hungry.

The law expands the Child Nutrition School Lunch Protection Act.

Before the expansion, only public school students up to 5th grade could qualify for free lunches at school.
