Denver, Douglas County, Jeffco Public Schools Among Schools With Late Start Thursday Due To Winter Storm

(CBS4)- Several large school districts are among those schools on a delayed start for Thursday. This comes as CBS4 meteorologists have claimed Wednesday as a First Alert Weather Day.

Denver Public Schools are on a 2-hour delay.

Douglas County schools are on a 90-minute delay for Thursday.

Jeffco Public Schools also were on a delayed start, a 2-hour delay for Thursday.

Adams County School District 14 will also be operating on a 2-hour delayed start.

Littleton Public Schools are on a 2-hour delay.

There were dozens of school districts listed on the CBS4 School Closings page.

Some areas along the Front Range could see up to 12 inches of snow by midnight.
