Santa Clara Weather Looking Great For Sunday

By Justin McHeffey

Weather on Super Bowl Sunday looks about as perfect as it gets in Santa Clara, CA. The mild central California climate won't disappoint the Broncos from kickoff through the 4th quarter. A large ridge of high pressure stays just offshore on Sunday, that means conditions will be clear and calm for the whole football game.
Kickoff at 4:30 p.m. will be a nice, comfortable 71 degrees under sunny skies. Sunset at 5:39 p.m. will cool things off for halftime, but temps will be much warmer than the Broncos have been used to playing in lately. Expect 66 degrees for the beginning of the second half, temperatures hover in the lower 60s for the 4th quarter.
At no point in the game are we expecting a drop of rain or even a gust of wind. Meanwhile back in Colorado, I'll be scouring the state for just the opposite. We're all looking forward to the game here at CBS4! Go Broncos!
