On Sang Kim's Facebook page, his love of music is evident. The 16-year-old Overland High School student will be missed by fellow classmates.

Classmate Ahmed Harhov says Sang was a funny guy.

"He's a great musician, a good student and an around great person," Harhov said.

Harhov says he also was invited, but didn't go to the warehouse party where Sang and another person got shot. The second victim was hit in the hand. Denver police say there was a fight at the party which then spilled into the parking lot.

Sang died.

Manharsh Mohan is also a fellow student. He says the school is mourning.

"It makes me sad because he had his life in front of him and he was going to be a great musician but he died," Mohan said.

Sang was an honor roll student at Overland. Friends say his family moved to Colorado from Korea just a few years ago.

The news of Sang's death has many of his classmates realizing that life is short and fragile, according to Harhov.

"Anything can happen to anyone," he said. "It's just crazy how things happen."

Students have planned a candle light vigil for Friday at 7 p.m. at Utah Park near Overland High School.
