10,000-Pound Boulder Blocks Highway 145 In San Miguel County
SAN MIGUEL COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A large boulder the size of a small car fell onto Highway 145 outside Telluride in San Miguel County on Monday. The boulder fell onto the eastbound lanes at Silverpick Road.

The boulder weighed about 10,000 pounds and was 4-feet by 4-feet by 4-feet. A snowplow moved the boulder off the highway. No one was injured.
Emergency vehicles were able to clear the boulder from the highway about an hour later and all lanes were reopened.
