San Luis Valley Animal Center Prepares For Groundbreaking Ceremony
ALAMOSA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- This Friday, the Dumb Friends League is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of a new animal shelter in south-central Colorado. The new San Luis Valley Animal Center will serve Alamosa County.
The ceremony kicks off at 1 p.m. off Airport Road and State Avenue in Alamosa.
Future plans for the new shelter include low cost spay and neuter services, behavioral support and subsidized vet care.
