Saint Vrain Creek Closed To Tubing, Water Recreation Until June 25

LYONS, Colo. (CBS4)- Tubers and other water recreationists are no longer allowed on the North Saint Vrain and Saint Vrain Creek in Lyons. The restriction lasts until June 25.

This comes after crews have been called to an increasing number of rescues as more people hit the water to beat the heat.

On Tuesday, an 18-year-old woman was pulled from St. Vrain Creek after falling out of her tube. Rescuers said she is doing OK.
