Former RTD CEO Phil Washington To Help Biden-Harris Transition Team With Transportation

DENVER (CBS4)- President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have named a former RTD CEO as their transportation transition team leader. Phil Washington was in that role at RTD from 2009 to 2015.

He has been leading the LA Metro in California.

Washington will be responsible for evaluating the U.S. Department of Transportation's operations so that the new administration is prepared when Biden and Harris take office on Jan. 20, 2021.
