Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road Closed

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) — Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park remains closed because of freezing temperatures and snow drifts up to 3 feet.

Park officials say weather conditions this time of year can deteriorate rapidly, and they don't know when the high-altitude scenic road will reopen.

Meanwhile, Old Fall River Road in the park has closed for the season. The road will remain open to cyclists and hikers with leashed pets until Nov. 30, at their own risk. It is set to reopen at the beginning of April.
