Officials: Mother & Young Son Found Dead In Rocky Mountain National Park

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - Rocky Mountain National Park officials say a 24-year-old mother and her 17-month-old son were found dead on the Beaver Meadow Trail. Rangers found the bodies of Tristen Watson and Christopher Watson on Thursday afternoon.
Park rangers say they were notified of a suicidal person in a vehicle near Upper Beaver Meadows Road. The coroner's office confirms the case as a murder-suicide.
Both died of gunshot wounds.
