Rocky Mountain Airshow Canceled For 2016

DENVER (CBS4) - The Rocky Mountain Airshow has been canceled this year.

The Blue Angels announced they would not be coming to the show because both it and Denver Navy Week have been canceled.

The airshow used to run every May at the Aurora Reservoir Park.

In 2015, dozens of fans were frustrated after completely missing the show because they were stuck in traffic on E-470.

It's not clear if traffic issues are a factor in this year's cancellation.
