Rockies Game Postponed Due To Water Main Break

DENVER (CBS4) – The Rockies game against the Cincinnati Reds was postponed Saturday evening after a water main break near Coors Field.

The 12-inch water main break occurred in the 2100 block of Blake Street. Denver Water said the water has been shut off and the main has been isolated. Crews will need to dig down to get to the break and fix it. They estimated the work to take about 8 hours.

There was no water in the restrooms at Coors Field which led to the postponement. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Sunday with start times at 2:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
