Rockies' Charlie Blackmon Scores Backward Half-Court Shot At Nuggets Game

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Nuggets played the Grizzlies Thursday night and found themselves down by a point at the final horn, but a different Denver team is making headlines after the game.

A group of Colorado Rockies players attended the Nuggets game, and outfielder Charlie Blackmon made it onto the court during a break. The Nuggets tweeted a photo of the crew, and the Rockies tweeted a video of what happened next.

Looks like Blackmon's skills go beyond baseball! Not only was it a half-court shot, but a backward one at that.

He was excited to say the least. In an interview after the shot, he said, "I lost it. I lost control of my body, my muscle function, I went crazy."

We're glad to see his luck has returned after having to be rescued by a teammate on the highway a few days ago.
