Surgical Technician Admits To Taking, Reselling VA Hospital Supplies

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A surgical technician at the new veterans hospital in Aurora is accused of stealing and reselling medical supplies. Investigators say security cameras caught him in the act.

A federal affidavit says Robert Record, Jr. admitted to stealing the items and told investigators he had financial problems.

Investigators say the amount of supplies stolen amounted to $30,000.
