Robber Hits Same Westminster Bank 3 Days Later, Police Say

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A bank robber struck a Westminster TCF Bank branch on Friday evening, police believe, just three days after his heist at the same location.

Westminster police said they believe the same robber hit the bank at 7206 Federal Boulevard, which was robbed on Tuesday. Both robberies occurred at about 5 p.m.

On Friday, the robber entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money, police said. No weapon was presented, and no one was injured.

He is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-8 with average build. He was wearing black shoes, dark pants, a tan jacket with a fur collar and a black hat.

On Tuesday, police said he was possibly armed with pepper spray. No one was injured in that heist either.

Anyone with information is asked to call Westminster police at 303-658-4360.
