Riot Fest Announces Stop In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - Riot Fest announced on Thursday that the event is coming back to Denver this year. The festival will stop in Toronto, Chicago, and Denver, but the only lineup released so far is for Chicago.

Denver is the Fest's first location, taking place from August 28 - 30.

No word yet where the festival will take place. Last year, Arapahoe County denied Riot Fest the permit needed to host the event in Byers, where it was held for its first year in Colorado. The community staunchly opposed the music festival on the grounds that it had an adverse effect on the town.

Riot Fest was held in the parking lot of the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in 2014. You can check their website for updates.
