RiNo Pop-Up Shop Offers Unique Holiday Gifts

By Libby Smith

DENVER (CBS4) - We all have that someone on our holiday list who is almost impossible to shop for. The RiNo Made Pop-Up Shop likely has just the gift you need.

"We're going great. People are really having a great time," said Tracy Weil of the RiNo Art District.

The pop-up store is located in The Source on Brighton Boulevard. It's full of art and handmade items like greeting cards and jewelry, all from artisans in and around the RiNo neighborhood.

"We've invited them to come down and show case their work here because a lot of them don't have a gallery to show their work in. And as rents are rising in the neighborhood, we want to make sure we provide a platform for artists to sell their work and make a little bit more money," Weil explained.

The RiNo Made Pop-Up Store will be open through the end of the year.

Then the arts district will open a permanent RiNo Made Store in mid-January at Zeppelin Station at 35th and Wazee.
