Reward Offered After Acid-Type Explosives Discovered In Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - Police are offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information related to the acid-type devices found in two Highlands Ranch parks.

One child was hurt Tuesday when the first one exploded in Dad Clark Park, located on Astorbrook Circle.

A second one was found Wednesday at Marcy Park located on Desert Willow Road.

Police are urging the public to stay away from any capped plastic bottles that may have some sort of product inside and to call 911.

Police have been making extra patrols in all parks in Highlands Ranch following the discoveries.
