Reward Increased To $10,000 In New Year's Eve Murder Case

DENVER (CBS4)- A mother has increased the reward to try to find who killer her son on New Year's Eve.

Toshio Gilmore's lifeless body was discovered outside the Renaissance Apartments located at 5th Avenue and Alton Street in the Lowry neighborhood on a couch. At first, people thought he was sleeping.

Upon further investigation by officers in the Denver Police Homicide Unit they discovered Gilmore had been shot.

Gilmore's mother raised the reward to $10,000 on Friday to help find his killer.

Anyone with information about Gilmore's death is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
