Chris Patrinas, a longtime resident at Pebble Creek, says he was surprised to learn two people were found dead in his complex.

"I'm in shock over it," said Patrinas. "It's never happened here before. We haven't had any problems since I've been living here."

The cause of death is still under investigation.

"Based on some initial statements that we received, we do believe this is an isolated incident," said Denver police spokesperson Doug Schepman. "There's not an immediate threat to public safety at this time."
